"Love the Space You're In"

Almost ready!!!

So we are almost here at chirstmas and I'm just about out of time... too many things to do before the big day, looks like a few things have to be revamped. I'm really looking forward to celebrating the birth of christ. This time of year is great to watch the children open up gifts and to door bell ditch people. I just love it :) I love how cold it has gotten to make it feel a little more like that time of year. It hasn't snowed, mind you, in El Cajon, but it has in Alpine and Julian. A snow day and apple pie and cider is in order next week :)

Xander opened up his first gift today.. well.... he really just ate the wrapping paper then was too intersted in me taking pictures of him. And so he turned his back on his present and chased the empty wrapping paper across the room. :) Such a cutie! He has also been standing by himself and attempting to walk. Crazy kid. Who does he think he is???? Things went down hill for me, real fast, te minute he started crawling at 4 months. Now he is really fast at getting places and occasionally climbs UP on things only to get freaked out when he realizes what he really did. Its fun to watch, but not to hear a *thud* from the other room as he rolls down off of things. I think I have my hands full! So when it comes to walking, I hope it takes him another year to figure it out!

When I'm in the office working he likes to "help" me organize my samples and product. So I let him have at the bucket of nail polish bottles and he plays for almost an hour by himself. He entertains himself very well with whatever he can find.. most of the time its not a fancy toy that holds his fancy.. its an empty bottle, a can of whatever.. a roll of tp or just chasing after the cats. Its amazing to watch him explore and learn (I can even see "those wheels turning" )
