Today was our 1st Annual Mk5k fun run/walk! And now that its over, and a HUGE success, we can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that we can recoup this weekend. I think the adrenaline rush is over, so my body is not liking me.. looks like its nap time!
Lots of time, talents and energy went into this event [that will now be an annual event] and I am so blessed to have friends & family to help and support. We raised a little over $1,000 with 50 race finishers and a great silent auction! We are still receiving donations, so the tally isn't official yet, but will be after the 1st of November. We are so excited for next year already! But planning wont start until the first of the new year.
Whats next for me you ask? Well, I am now working on my Mary Kay Business and qualifying to drive the Chevy Malibu... FOR FREE! And then to become a Sales Director and triple my monthly income :) I can't wait to smell that new car smell! And to not have to sit squished in the middle between Cameron and Xander in the truck.. which doesn't have air conditioning and its a manual! Hello FREE here I come!
