Family Photographs 2009

The Merry Go Round wasn't Xander's favorite, even though he was begging to go on.. when it started, he changed his mind. Apparently its not the same when its moving!

I reeeaaaalllyyy wanted the Zebras, but some little girls stayed on for one more ride... I almost asked if we could take their spot, but we chose a horse instead. Maybe next time, zebra, my friend.

I love this sculpture! It was so bright out but what a beautiful day!

I absolutely love this one! Xander is a happy kid, with a great sense of humor, and it shows.

We took photos with Brit Mann, what a photographer! We had so much fun and the pictures turned out great! Our first stop was Sea Port Village where we were able to take a few photos then a security guard [with nothing better to do] asked us to leave. Apparently no photographs are to be taken there?! Not sure what it was about but we meandered over to the part adjacent to the Village where we took some photographs. I wanted to upload every picture she took, they were so good.. but I think that might just be over kill.. so just a sampling :)

Then we headed over to Balboa Park to make use of the amazing architecture and gardens of plenty :) The Merry Go Round was the best! It goes 13 mph.. if you don't think that is very fast, hop on! I was nauseous the rest of the day, but it was well worth it!

Xander started to get cranky, where's Grant with the Elephant when you need him? Brit bribed him with Skittles so all went well. She is such an amazing friend and very very talented photographer!
