Date Night!

We haven't gotten many date nights in the past few months and I'm not sure why. The only thing I can think of is that we are working so hard with our businesses that by the time any free time comes around, we're exhausted and just want to hang out at home. I don't mind the hanging out at home, this means I can wear my pjs and not have to do my hair and makeup. But that does get old after a while and it's great just to get out :)

Cameron told me almost 3 weeks ago to "save the date" and did not specify why except, "I'm taking you on a date."... which made me curious for weeks. I love surprises, but not when its WEEKS away.. But I have been so busy with working my Mary Kay business that the time just sped by so fast! I was so excited to get dressed up and go out!






He took me to Flemings where they are known for their steaks. I LOVE steak! The atmosphere was friendly and beautiful. The food was amazing. I ordered a Fillet Mignon, of course and Cameron ordered scallops. Oh my gosh! It was heaven! Our waiter was Brian, and was one of the best I've ever had. He even brought me a golden box of Truffles! How awesome! Those were soooooo good, melt in your mouth excitement! During dinner Cameron gave me a card that was so sweet, he aways has a way to melt my heart.

Afterwards we were supposed to go see a movie, but ended up missing it so we went to Mt. Solidad [where he proposed to me almost 8 years ago] and sat talking until we got too cold. Then we took the scenic route home and talked some more. I am so blessed to be married to my very best friend and hot hubby! He is always so good to me. Thank you honey for another great night out.
