Daddy and Alexander, a few days old. Nap times are the best [and were quite often]

umm.. sleeping, again....
Welcome Alexander to our crazy but beautiful world! He is only an hour old in this picture.

We can't believe Alexander is 2 already! It has been such a blessing having him in our home. We love him so much!

Some of my favorite times are:

*First thing in the morning when he wakes up, he plays for a few minutes with his toys then goes to his door and[while knocking] yells "heello! hello! heeellloooooo!" I'm sure that if the door wasn't warped and very hard to open, he'd be out of there in a heart beat.. thank goodness for a warped door!! Then we lay back down in my bed to snuggle and call daddy on the phone for morning prayers.

*Meal time, he reminds us that we need to say prayer- folds his arms and waits patiently for us to follow.

*Snuggle time with a book on the couch, sometimes he even "reads" the book to me.

Nothing beats the times when he comes up to me, gives me a big hug and kiss and says "love you!". Just as quickly as he comes to do that.. he runs off to play with his toys or read a book. What precious times! I am blessed to be his mommy.
