Xander [gently] reminded me that I said we'd go to the park today..... Sooo after lunch and nap time I [finally] got out of meh pj's and we went to the park.
He started off with riding his new bike, then saw the kids playing on the playground and decided to ditch the bike to play on the slide. I never know with him- is he going to like going on the slide all by himself? Will he insist that I climb up that narrow space [again] to go on the tall slide? Am I going to be running around with him? or just a silent observer?
Well, today was an eventful day- some kids tried to push him away from what he was playing on and he stood his ground. I was silently pleased. He has only older nephews and so he ends up being pushed and bossed around so it was nice to see him stand his ground and not be chased off. One of the little boys even shoved and hit him and he just looked at the kid and said "no hitting" then went on a head playing. I was relieved and happy that he didn't hit back. Sebastian stayed in the Ergo the whole time and chewed on his hand between cooing at me. I'm glad that he isn't up and about too- yet. Once that happens more grey hair will grow, that I'm sure of!
