craziness

Our lives have been so crazy since the birth of Sebastian. Right after he was born came the holidays. and boy! They were busy!

Our lives are now filled with lots of book reading during feeding time.... make believe.... forts.... laughing at farts [yes boys are lovely]....playing outside.. discovering leeetle bugs in the grass...planting the garden......trips to the park, library, zoo and sea world.... and trying to get things done around the house.

Since Sebastian is still pretty immobile I can get more done.. but just you wait! He'll be up and movin' in no time. Especially if he develops along the same line that Xander did at his age.. then I'm in for a world of trouble! But I can't complain. The boys already love each other and Xander can't wait to hold Sebastian and cuddle. I love seeing them together and it seems like both of them have always been in our lives.

Cameron had 7ish weeks off from work, so from Nov to 4 Jan we had him all to ourselves!! Now that he is back at work I'm gonna die. Ok so I'm not really.. but I got used to having another pair of hands all day long and if I needed a break then it was nice to not have to wait hours until he got home from work. I about cried all day long when he went back to work. I really miss him when he's gone and very glad that his job is as amazing as it is. Xander really missed Cameron too... it was a very tough first week back for all of us. Now we are getting back into the swing of things, finding our schedule and recovering from the holidays.

I am grateful that the kids are so young.. I'll never have this much "down time" the rest of my life. I welcome the craziness but will always remember that over scheduling causes more stress and never is fun. I can't wait to see what the boys are into as they get older! I'm so excited to be able to decorate their room and have a place of learning and growth.
